Visit to Carding Mill Valley

Year 11 visit Carding Mill Valley
 

Year 11 Geography Learners visited Carding Mill Valley, Shropshire on 21st and 23rd September 2016 to complete a river study as part of their controlled assessment.  Learners spent the day working in groups to collect data to investigate changes in the river profile.

A great visit enjoyed by all.

Beacon Hill Academy Remembers

 

Learners from Beacon Hill Academy took part in a Remembrance Day service at the newly relocated cenotaph from its long-standing site outside Mount Tabor Church, in Sedgley Road West.
