What is taught?

Music lessons are split into two styles - Traditional and Technical. Traditional lessons aim to give learners at least a basic understanding of how to play multiple instruments, as well as the skills needed to analyse popular songs throughout history to work out what makes them so popular. Is it the temp, the beat or something else? Technical lessons give learners the ability to prepare their own digital music using computer software.

How is it taught?

Most music lessons will have some sort of practical element to them, even if they are analysing existing songs, the teacher may ask them to point out where the beat is, for example. The class teacher will often demonstrate a musical skill and then ask learners to replicate it in their own unique style.

What makes your subject unique?

Music is something which, no matter where in the world you go, can be understood. It bypasses all language and cultural barriers, and brings us all together.
